Jotain uutta / Something new

Pistelinpä tässä päivänä eräänä ruusua ristipistotyöhön. Tulipahan sitten netistä etsittyä ohjettakin ja löytyihän niitä; silkkinauhalla tehtyjä. Onnistuin kyllä DMC-ruusullani, mutta innostuin kokeilemaan silkkinauhalla - kunhan kävin tänään ensin ostamassa sellaista :D Ja tässä tulos - kuva huono, pistelyntulos hyvä :D

I was stitching a rose onto a crossstitching a couple of days ago, googling for instructions on the internet and sure - there are alot, but for silkribboning. I did manage with my DMC rose, but I just had to tryout with silkribbon. First had to buy some :D And here's what I made - bad pic, good stitching result :D

Pistelyn alla ollut Villa Mirabilia, joka on Nora Corbettin suunnittelema malli. Yhden yli pistely vie huomattavasti enempi aikaa kuin 2 yli pistely. Tosin olen iloinen viikonlopun pistoista, joita tähän malliin sain 1283 lisää :)

I've stitched on Villa Mirabilia by Nora Corbett. Stitching over 1 takes more time than stitching over 2. I am happy with my result for this weekend with 1283 stitches on this piece.

Lasken kyllä edellisen postauksen ladybugpistelyn myös viikonlopun pistoihin, sillä tulihan se viikonlopun aikaan pisteltyä :D

Kirsi piristi arkeani lähettämällä postia :) Kuoresta löytyi ihana kortti ja kiva pisteltävä kitti :)

Kirsi decided to brighten my day by sending me mail :) A wonderful card and something nice to stitch :)

 

 Eilen illalla pistelin 3h ja tänään jatkoin toiset 3h ja valmista tuli :D
Tästä tulee Miolle jotain kivaa, kunhan saan pähkäiltyä miten viimeistelen.

Stitched for 3h last night and continued with an other 3h today and got it stitched :D

I'm making something cute for Mio, just need to figure out what.

Heips maaliskuuhun. Kohta jo kuun puolivälissä ja kevät tulee kohinalla. Ihanan aurinkoisia kelejä! Ja pistoja on syntynyt - päivitykset hieman ontuneet. Tässä siis rypästä tämän kuun pistoista!

It's March - almost half of this month has passed and spring is rushing itself. I love the sunny weather! I have been stitching - my updates are behind. So here's what I've been doing during March!

Hullutus # 28 valmistui 2.3. ja tein siitä veljelleni 50v kortin. Kortista en huomannut kuvaa ottaa :( mutta tässä pistely valmiina :) 

Crazy # 28 was stitched ready on the 2nd and I made it into a 50y b-daycard for my brother. Didn't remember to take a pic of the card, but here's the stitching ready :)

Seuraavan oli vuorossa hullutus # 22, jota pistelin 5., 6., 11. ja 12. päivinä, yhteensä tähän tuli näiden päivien aikana 963 pistoa lisää :)

Next I stitched on crazy # 22 and I have been stitching on this one for several days - the 5th, 6th, 11th and 12th. 963 stitches more :)

Vuoroon tuli hullutus # 15, jonka sainkin valmiiksi :) Tätä pistelin 7. pv ja pistoja tuli 559 - yhteensä 1579 koko mallissa. Viimeistelyä vailla, mutta sehän vaatii myös 12-14 töiden valmistumisen, sillä kaikki ovat samalla kankaalla.

It was turn for # 15 which I stitched ready on the 7th :) with 559 stitches. This stitching had 1579 stitches in all. Now it's waiting for finalization, just have to get # 12-14 stitched ready, since they are on the same fab.

Ja kun tämän syksyn sain valmiiksi, niin jatkoinpa kevääseen eli hassutukseen 13, joka valmistui 9. pv. Keväässä pistoja yhteensä 1820 :)

Since I got autumn ready I wanted to continue into spring which was # 13 and stitched it ready on the 9th. Spring has 1820 stitches :)

Meninpä sitten ostamaan itselleni uusimman Cross Stitchers lehden, jonka mukana tuli tämä - ja sehän piti sitten pistellä samantein ja on menossa Miolle <3 Tässäkin pienessä työssä on peräti 558 pistoa ja valmistui viimeisteleyä myöten 11. pv. (onneksi liima kuivui, eikä enää ole näin "kaunis"...)

I bought the newest Cross Stitchers mag and got this with it - and I just had to stitch straight away. It's for Mio <3. There are 558 stitches in this little piece, which I stitched and finalized on the 11th. (lucky for me the glue dried and doesn't look so "beautiful" anymore...)

Ja sitten huomaan, että olenhan minä pistellyt suttakin tässä kuussa - 3. ja 5. pv:t. Susi tällä hetkellä tämän näköinen :)
Just realized that I have been stitching on the wolf this month - on the 3rd and 5th days. And it looks like this now :)

Lindan blogia lukiessani huomasin, että minut on valittu PIFin saajaksi :) Jotain virkattua on siis tulossa vuoden sisällä :) Lupasinpa sitten itsekkin sellaisen järjestää, mutta hoidan alta pois edelliset ja laitan sitten viestiä :D 

I was do delighted to see my name on a PIF on Linda's blog :) I'm going to receive something crocheted within a year :) I promised to pass it forward once I've got my own PIF completed. I'll post more about it later :D

Pistelin maanantaina "... keep yout borders watered" mallia, joka on Margaret Sherryn kirjasesta The Secret Garden. Tähän tuli pistoja 434, eli kukkanen, ruohoa ja keltaiset osuudet :)

On Monday I stitched on Margaret Sherry's "... keep your borders watered" design which can be found in a leaflet called The Secret Garden. Got the flower, part of the grass and the yellow stitces done, 434 in all :)

Tänä päivänä tuli pistoja yhteensä 712 :D Halloween - yksi monista - sai siis jatkoa reippaasti :D Ilmaismalli Passione Ricamon sivuilta.

One of my many Halloween designs got 712 stitches today :D which took a great deal futher :D The desing is a freebie from Passione Ricamo.

RPH / UCJC 2012 # 17 & September

Eilen sai viimeisen piston yksi hassutuksistani - tämä siis 8. valmistunut hassutus tänä vuonna :D Kyseessä siis tammikuun 17.sta aloitettu Newton's Law:n pitkä lounas. Tämä jää odottamaan neljättä NL-työtä valmistumaan, sitten onkin viimeistelyn vuoro.

I stitched the last backstitches on one of my crazies - this was the 8.th ready stitched crazy for this year. Started Newton's Law's long lunch on Jan 17th, stitched ready on 22nd. This will wait for my 4th NL to get  stitched ready and then get finalized.

Taisi olla vuosi 2006, kun sain tämän pistelyn työn alle - eikä siihen montaa pistoa silloin tullut... :( Viikonlopun ristipistotapaamisessa Ressu toi mieleeni tämän työn ja niinpä kaivoin sen esiin ja UFO muuttui jälleen WIPiksi :D Pistoja tähän työhön tuli viikonlopun aikana 207 ja eilen  249, yhteensä siis 456.  Tämä  on Kirjokkaan ristipistopistomalliksi Jane Weilsin maalauksesta tehty malli nimeltään September. 

Guess it was 2006 when I got this chart and started stitching - got only a few stitches done then ... :( Ressu remimded me of this stitching during our cross stitch gathering last weekend after which I dug it out and turned this UFO into a WIO again. Got 207 stitches into it during the weekend and 249 yesterday - so with 456 stitches it's good to continue. This chart is made by Kirjokas from a painting done by Jane Weils and it's called September.

RPH pistelyjärjestys on päässyt hieman lipsumaan... tänään palaan taas "työjärjestykseen" ja jatkan siis 19.1. aloittamastani S-kirjaimesta. Josko vaikka saisi sen tänään valmiiksi :D

My UCJC stitching order is messed up.... it's time to get back to my "stitching order" which means that today I'll continue with my "S"-start from Jan 19th. Hope to have it ready today :D
