RPH / UCJC 2012 # 11

Vaihdoin hieman pistelyjärjestystä, sillä tälle päivää suunniteltu leijona on vielä sopivaa kangasta vaille. Joten otin päivälle 18 ajatellun pistelyn tähän päivään ja siirsin jellonan sitten 18.sta päivään :) Ihan en eilisiä aatoksia saanut täytettyä tälle päivää, sillä väsy oli melkoinen ja sitten ihana yllärivierailu veljen ja vaimonsa luona antoi mukavan piristyksen tähän meidän perheen arkeen - ainakin minua piristi oikein ihanasti!
Joten - seli selin jälkeen :P - sain tämän päivän J kirjaimen pisteltyä muutamaa jälkipistoa vaille valmiiksi. Ei siis puhettakaan, että olisin jatkanut NL:ää tälle päivää. No, kyllä se valmistuu sekin :D
Tässä siis päivän 11 kuva-anti:

I changed my stitching order today. I didn't have a suitable fabric for the lion, so I got day 18's chart out and moved the lion to day 18 :) Yesterdays idea of getting 2 stitched ready and finalized did'n't happen today. I've been really tired and we made a suprise visit to my brother and his wife and it was just fantastic! I had a wonderful time and a break to our normal days.
So after explanations :P - I got todays J stitched and it's missing just a few backstitches. No chance of continuing on yesterdays NL. Well, it will get ready :D

Ei se vielä valmis ole, mutta muutama purku tehty sitten purun tilalle oikealla värillä ja muitakin pistoja :) Katsotaan nyt kumpi ehtii ensin; uusi vuosi vai tämä valmiiksi... ;)

No ni, loppuvuoden spurtti näköjään päällä - tai ainakin osaan hyvin hämätä itseäni, että "muka".... Mut kuitenki; RPH 2011 merkeissä jälleen yksi pistos valmiina :D

Okay, I've sort of got this "last minute for this year" going on - or atleast I'm fooling myself very well, sort of like "as if".... But anyhow; CJC 2011 has one more stitching ready :D

Tässä kohtaa täytyy (ehkä) myöntää, että epäilen loppujen RPH 2011 töiden valmistuvan enää tänä vuonna. Syy siihen, että keskeneräiset ovat suht suuria - toiset enempi, toiset vielä enempi ;) :P ja voipi olla, että kun vuotta on jäljellä enää 24 pv, niin ei onnistu. Mut vielä kuitenkin on aikaa 24 pv....

At this point I have to admit (I think) that the rest of my CJC 2011 might not get ready during this year. The reason being that the one's I've got left are rahter big - others big, the rest even bigger ;) :P and the remaining 24 days of this year might not have enough hours for me to finnish them. Then again, I do have 24 days time....

Hullutus / CJC 2011

Hullutus #8 oli mukanani lauantain ristipistopikkujouluissa Kirsillä. Iso kiitos sinulle Kirsi, kun jälleen otit meidät pistelijät vastaan kauniiseen kotiisi! Ja kiitos mukavasta seurasta :) kaikille mukana olleille: Mintsi, Tarja, Outi, Marjo, Anni, Ressu, Pinja, Mari, Sari, Katri, Daniela ja Niina. 


Niin siis Hullutus oli mukana ja taisin siihen saada peräti 20 pistoa aikaan tapaamisessa, mutta kärpänen iski kotiin niin, että nyt on yksi RPH 2011 töistäni valmiina :D Enpäs muista, monekso on, mutta kiva tunne on, kun saa pistelyn valmiiksi. Ja kuvitelkaa; tämän yhden ainoan vuoden sisällä :P (ne, jotka tuntevat minut, tietävät, että projektini valmiiksi saamiseen saattaa vierähtää vuosi jos toinenkin...)


I had my CJC 2011 #8 with me on Saturday when Kirsi had arranged a christmas party for us stitchers "down south". Thank you so much Kirsi for having us all at your beutiful home! And thank you for the lovely company :) to Mintsi, Tarja, Outi, Marjo, Anni, Ressu, Pinja, Mari, Sari, Katri, Daniela ja Niina. 


Ok, I had my CJC with me and got about 20 stitches to it during our get together, but I brought home a "stitchybug" and have one off list and ready :D Can't remember how many I've got ready, but the feeling of pleasure when the stitching is done and ready is just great! Imagine; it's ready with in the year LOL (those of you who know me, know that my stitchings might take a year or a few to get ready...)

Hullutuksessa pari työtä on saanut muutaman piston lisää :)
Got some stitches done to 2 of my Crazyness-WIP's :)

Unikot ovat kasvaneet lähes täyteen pituuteen, tästä puuttu puolitoista kukkasta, 5 lehteä ja 3 nuppua.

My poppies have grown to almost it's full lenght. Missing one and a half flowers, 5 leaves and 3 buds.

Laatikko täynnä koristeita on valmis - mitä nyt jälkipistot puuttuvat :) Ja paljon muutakin :)

The box with Christmas decorations is ready - ok, it's missing the backstitches :) And whole lot more :)
Tämän ihanan pääsiäispistelyn löysin jostain netistä (en vaan enää muista mistä...) ja pistelin sen DMC:n liukuvärjätyillä langoilla + puput valkoisella. Alkuperäiseen malliin verrattuna rajasin puput, sillä halusin tuoda ne paremmin esiin taustasta :) Viimeistely vielä vaiheessaan.

Found this easterchart somewhere on the internet - just can't remember where from... and stitched it with DMC's varigated thereads + the bunnies with white. I wanted to get the bunnies to jump out of this pic, so I backstitched them :) Needs some finilazing this one :)

I'm really facinated with Agi's freebies :) I stitched a biscornu from her designs earlier and now I'm stitching these;

Nuoremman tyttäreni poikaystävä pyysi - nähtyään biscornun - että pistelisin hänelle jotain värikästä :) Tähän on tulossa kaveriksi toinen ruutu, johon tulee reunat ja J-kirjain :)

My younger DD's boyfriend aske me - after seeing the biscornu - if I would stitch something colourfull for him :) I'm stitching a second block with a letter J in the middle and the outersides from this one :)

My new blogfriend Agi is from Hungary and this biscornu is desinged by her.
I love the different shape :) and it's quick to stitch.

Kurpitsojen pistely on ollut suorastaan ilo, sillä värit erottuvat kankaasta todella hienosti. Toisin kuin kulhot, joissa on ecrua ja valkoista. Kaipa minä vain tarvitsen kunnon valon nähdäkseni pistellä kankaan sävyjä lähellä olevilla väreillä.
My first start, Jan 1st 2011.
I've really enjoyed stitching the pumpkins, they pop out from the fabric so much better than stitching the white/ecru coloured parts. Guess I just need a very good light for seeing those close to the fabric colours to stitch :)

Tämä oli liki valmis pistojen osalta jo heti miten, muutama jälkipisto jäi edelliseen päivitykseen verrattuna. Nyt on jälkipistot tehty ja työ odottaa viimeistelyä, joka jääköön tällä kertaa omaksi tiedokseni :)

Tähän pisteeseen sain Isä Meidän.
Tämän piti olla vanhempieni 50v lahja, kunnes muutama viikko edellisen postauksen jälkeen olin vanhemmillani käymässä uuden kultani kanssa ja pitihän siellä sitten esitellä, mitä olen ajan saatossa vanhemmilleni pistellyt. Ja kuinka ollakkaan; olen pistellyt heille Isä Meidän rukouksen jo niin kauan sitten, etten enää sitä itsekkään muistanut.... Joten se siitä ja tämä tulee sitten itselleni ja valmistuu jossain välissä.
This is where I got with Our Father.
I was stitching it for my parents for their 50th anniversary till just a few weeks after my last post I was visiting my parents with my new love and of course I just had to introduce what I'd stitched for my parents over the years. And yes; I've stitched Our Father for them ages ago, just didn't remember it.... So that's that and now I'm stitching if for me :)

This Orchid is easy and quick to stitch.
The blue flower and back ground needs yet to be done.
I'm going to personalize this one with extra stitches;
I'm filling in the blank squares of the petals by stitching them with white.

Hassutus / Crazyness

Minna keksi viime vuoden lopuilla pistää pystyyn Hassutuksen ja mukanahan sitä pitää tietenkin olla :) Osa syynä sellainen seikka, että saa kotiin kauniita ristipistotöitä, loput syyt tulee rakkaudesta ristipistoihin :) Ideana tässä Hullutuksessa oli se, että tammikuun 1. - 15. pv aloitetaan uusi työ joka päivä = 15 uutta aloitusta heti vuoden alkuun. Pari onkin jo valmiina ja menneet (nämä vielä) vaihdossa muualle. Kaksi työtä tässä Hassutuksesta lähtee vielä lahjaksi - niistä en tämän enempää sanokkaan, loput tulee sitten kotiin :) Katsotaan nyt missä muodossa ne sitten valmistuttuaan ovat.
Ja tässä kuvarypäs - ilman sen enempää erittelyä järjesteyksestä, sillä enhän minä nyt enää muista tarkkaa järjestystä aloittamisesta, kun en niitä sen enempää niitä itselleni kirjannut.

At the end of 2010 Minna got this great idea of Crazyness and I just had to be part of it :) Partially because I want to have some beautifull cross stitches for my home, the rest of the reasons being my love of cross stitching :) Minna's idea was to start a new cross stitch everyday, starting Jan 1st to 15th = 15 new starts for the beginning of this year. I've sent 2 of these stitches in an exchange ((no more exchanges this year!). An other 2 of this Crazyness are planned as gifts, the rest will decorate my home once ready and finalized - don't know how, that'll be seen in the future.
And here's the pic's - ilman no specific order since I don't remember in what order I started them since I didn't make any notes about them.

Nämä kanaset olivat nopeita pistellä ja valmistuivatkin aloituspäivänään kumpikin.
Ja päätyivät vihon kanteen ja lähtivät matkaan Syysvaihdon (kolmas yritys päätyi vihdoin oikeaan osoitteeseen!) parilleni Marelolle.
These chickens were fast to stitch and were ready the same day I started stitching them.
They ended up as a cover of a notebook which I sent to Marelo, who was my partner in last years Autumn exchange (finally the 3rd one got to the right add!)
