Ristipistotapaaminen / Crossstitchmeeting

Eilinen oli kovasti odotettu päivä; Marjo oli kutsunut meidät pistelijät koolle ja voi että kun oli ihana tavata ystäviä pistelyn merkeissä :D Mukana olivat Kirsi, Outi, Katri, Tarja, Ressu ja minä. Tarjalle kiitos kyydityksestä! Puhetta riitti ja nauruterapiaa ja muutaman pistonkin sain aikaan. Minulla oli mukana Passione Ricamon Kesäkeiju, johon tuli kyllä vähänlaisesti pistoja, edistystä kuitenkin :D

Yesterday was a day I had really looked forward to; Marjo hosted a cross stitch meeting and oh how it was wonderful to meet friends and stitch together :D Kirsi, Outi, Katri, Tarja and Ressu where there too. Thank you Tarja for the lift! You can just guess on how much talking and laughing we did and also some stitching too. I had Passione Ricamo's Summer Fairy Spirit with me and got a few stitches done - progress that is :D

 Ylimmäinen lehti ja kukkaset sen alla oli eilisen psitot, yhteensä 368 pistoa.

The top leaf and flowers below it was what I got stitched, 368 stitches.

Illalla kotiin päästyäni innostuin pistelemään hullutusta 22, eli Charlottea, jonka suunnitellut Sara Moon Belle. Malli löytyy The World of Cross Sstitching lehdestä no 181.

Once home yesterday evening I continued stitching on crazy 22, which is Charlottte, designed by Sara Moon Belle and found in The World of Cross Stitching issue 181.

Ja sitten ilon aihetta hullutukseeni; sain perjantaina valmiiksi 15. pistelyn :D Ja voi kun on hyvä mieli. Yhteensä tänä vuonna valmistunut 24 pistelyä, joista siis 15 hullutuksesta ja 9 muuta pistelyä. Tämä 15. valmistunut hullutus on Quick&Easy lehden mukana tulleesta The Secret Garden lehtisestä ja mallin nimi on "... keeping your borders watered" ja sunnittelija on Margaret Sherry.

Some good news in my january challenge; I got my 15th stitching ready :D And boy how I feel good. I've stitched ready 24 stitchings this year, of which 15 are from the ultimate crazy January challenge and 9 other stitchings. This 15.th crazy is a chart from a leaflet "The Secret Garden" which was in a Quick&Easy mag. This chart is called "...keeping your borders watered", desing by  Margaret Sherry.

Kaivoin esiin pitkään laatikossa olleen Passione Ricamon kevät keijun. Työ on aivan mahottoman kaunis ja halusin siihen lisää pistoja, jos vaikka valmistuisikin joskus Kuukeijun kaveriksi. 
Pistoja tuli 863 lisää ja näyttää nyt tältä (sori huono kuvanlaatu).

I picked out Passione Ricamo's Spring Fairy Spirit from my box. I think she's so pretty and wanted to put in some stitches. Maybe it'll get stitches ready some day to join my Moon Fairy. 
I got 863 stitches into it and she looks like this (sorry the poor quality of the photo)

RPH / UCJC 2012 # 17 & September

Eilen sai viimeisen piston yksi hassutuksistani - tämä siis 8. valmistunut hassutus tänä vuonna :D Kyseessä siis tammikuun 17.sta aloitettu Newton's Law:n pitkä lounas. Tämä jää odottamaan neljättä NL-työtä valmistumaan, sitten onkin viimeistelyn vuoro.

I stitched the last backstitches on one of my crazies - this was the 8.th ready stitched crazy for this year. Started Newton's Law's long lunch on Jan 17th, stitched ready on 22nd. This will wait for my 4th NL to get  stitched ready and then get finalized.

Taisi olla vuosi 2006, kun sain tämän pistelyn työn alle - eikä siihen montaa pistoa silloin tullut... :( Viikonlopun ristipistotapaamisessa Ressu toi mieleeni tämän työn ja niinpä kaivoin sen esiin ja UFO muuttui jälleen WIPiksi :D Pistoja tähän työhön tuli viikonlopun aikana 207 ja eilen  249, yhteensä siis 456.  Tämä  on Kirjokkaan ristipistopistomalliksi Jane Weilsin maalauksesta tehty malli nimeltään September. 

Guess it was 2006 when I got this chart and started stitching - got only a few stitches done then ... :( Ressu remimded me of this stitching during our cross stitch gathering last weekend after which I dug it out and turned this UFO into a WIO again. Got 207 stitches into it during the weekend and 249 yesterday - so with 456 stitches it's good to continue. This chart is made by Kirjokas from a painting done by Jane Weils and it's called September.

RPH pistelyjärjestys on päässyt hieman lipsumaan... tänään palaan taas "työjärjestykseen" ja jatkan siis 19.1. aloittamastani S-kirjaimesta. Josko vaikka saisi sen tänään valmiiksi :D

My UCJC stitching order is messed up.... it's time to get back to my "stitching order" which means that today I'll continue with my "S"-start from Jan 19th. Hope to have it ready today :D

Suuren suuri pieni ongelma / A huge small problem

Eilinen meni melkein ilman pistoja... :( oksennus ja mieletön päänsärky oli seurana aamusta iltaan. Ja sitten lasit - siis ristipistolasini ovat hukassa :'( Enkä minä näe pistellä ilman niitä :'( Tänään onneksi ollut "vain" toipilas päivä, muttei piston pistoa, kun ne lasit on edelleen hukassa... :'( Pitäisi varmaan hakea uudet :)

Yesterday went almost without any stitches... :( vomiting and dreadfull headache all day, from morning till night. And I've misplaced my stitchingglasses :'( Can't stitch with out them :'( Today's been a better day, with "just" getting back to life from yesterday, but with out any stitces, since I can't find my glasses.... :'( Guess I need to buy new ones :)

WIP

Älkää huoliko ystävät hyvät. Ei ole tyhjä olo, on äärettömän onnellinen olo, kun vihdoin on yksi WIP vähempi. Enkä jää miettimään "Mitä seuraavaksi" - siitä pitää huolen WIP-korissa vartoovat työt ja vaihdot :D

Don't worry dear friends. I don't feel empty, I'm so totally happy that I finally have one WIP less. And I don't have to wonder "What next" - that's been taken care by my WIP-backet and exchanges :D

Tuolle April-Mai samplerille haluaisin arvoisensa kehykset - joten kai sitä täytyy ruveta kyselemään kehystäjältä, että "mitä maksaa". Jos pyörryn kysyessä, niin teen ite, kunhan metsästän kehykset - tai jotain keksin. Katsotaan nyt. Voisin vaikka olla tarpeeksi kärsivällinen ja odottaa , että se on kehystettynä sitten uuteen kotiin :D

I want to frames that are up to my April-Mai sampler - so I guess I'll have to go ask how much framing costs. If I faint, I'll have to do it myself . Just need to find frames - or something. Let's see. I could be patient enough to wait for the framing for our new home :D

Vuonna 2006 aloitin kerrassaan ihanan ja kauniin samplerin, jota silloin piti SALina pistellä. Jostain kumman syystä elämä tuli tielle ja tätä sampleria olen pistellyt aina silloin tällöin. Eilen, syyskuun 21 päivä 2009 sain kuin sainkin sen

Viimein valmistui viimeinen (tummansininen kahden alimman rp-pannan välissä) jälkipisto"panta" ja ehdin vielä yhteen ristipistoin valmiiseen pantaan muutaman jälkipistonkin pistellä. Minä niiiiiiin tykkään noita jälkipistoja pistellä.....

My final backstitch band is ready (the darkblue band inbetween the 2 bottom bands) and I stitched a few backstitches on a crossstitchband.

I sooooooo like backstitches....

Lisäksi muutama lähikuva kohdista, joissa langan väri on aika hailu;

April-Mai Sampler

Tänään 31. heinäkuuta samplerini lähenee viimeisiä pistoja. Otin tänään kuvia (jee, kamera siis toimi taas :D) kokonaisuudesta ja muutaman lähikuvankin. Ja tässä teille "maistiaisia";

Today, July 31st, my sampler is getting closer to the final stitches. I took pictures (yey, my camera works againa :D) of the whole work and some closeups. Here's a few "tastes" for you;

Hieman edistystä sitten eilisen :D A bit more progress from yesterday :D

Tätä mallia on kiva pistellä ja hieman muokailla alkuperäistä ohjetta. Ihastuin niin noihin perhosiin, että halusin tuon keskiosan (joka tulee olemaan saksikotelon tausta) pääpainon olevan perhosissa :D Vielä jää nähtäväksi, miten teen etukappaleen alaosan tähän - näytän kyllä, kun siihen pisteeseen pääsen.
Kukkaset tuossa keskiosassa olen hieman säveltäen pistellyt.
This chart has been fun to stitch and personalize the origin. I totally fell for these butterflys that I wanted the middle part (the backside of the scissorcase) to have them fly all around it :D It's yet to be seen how the bottom part of the front side will look like, but I'll be sure to show you, once I'm there.
The flowers in the middle part have been personalized as stitching them.

Edistystä - ne muutamat pistotkin :D Popcorn työ, jota SALin aloitin muutaman ristipistoilijan kanssa vuonna 2006(vai 2005?). Hieman jäänyt UFOksi tämä työ, mutta kun Minna sai omansa pisteltyä tässä tammikuun puolella valmiiksi, niin päätin, että minä kans!
Progress - even the few stitches :D PopCorn that I started as a SAL with a few Finnish cross stitcher way back in 2006 (or was it 2005?). Turned into a UFO, but once Minna got her's ready just this January I desided to continue stitching mine!
