Tatty Teddies are home :)

Aiheeni Suomi-Saksa RR-kierroksella oli Tatty Teddy, jotka kotiutuivat turvallisesti :) Nyt minulla on 8 ihanaista Teddyä :) Pistelen oman osuuteni valmiiksi ja sitten viimeistelen molemmista kankaista tyynyt omaan makuuhuoneeseeni.

Mut lyhyesttä tarina kaunis; tässä TT:ni, jotta voitte kaikki ihailla :)

My theme in the Finnish German RR was Tatty Teddies and now I have 8 beauties home :)
I'll have to stitch my own part ready and then I'm going to finalize both pieces into pillows for my bedroom.

Uusi blogituttavuuteni Agi löytyy Unkarista ja tämä biscornu on hänen suunnittelemansa. Mukavasti erilainen muodoiltaan :) ja oli nopea pistellä.
My new blogfriend Agi is from Hungary and this biscornu is desinged by her.
I love the different shape :) and it's quick to stitch.

Muutamaan työhön saanut lisää pistoja, vaikken vielä valmiiksi ole saanutkaan.
Mut no hätä, hitaasti hyvä tulee :)

Kurpitsojen pistely on ollut suorastaan ilo, sillä värit erottuvat kankaasta todella hienosti. Toisin kuin kulhot, joissa on ecrua ja valkoista. Kaipa minä vain tarvitsen kunnon valon nähdäkseni pistellä kankaan sävyjä lähellä olevilla väreillä.
My first start, Jan 1st 2011.
I've really enjoyed stitching the pumpkins, they pop out from the fabric so much better than stitching the white/ecru coloured parts. Guess I just need a very good light for seeing those close to the fabric colours to stitch :)

Tämä oli liki valmis pistojen osalta jo heti miten, muutama jälkipisto jäi edelliseen päivitykseen verrattuna. Nyt on jälkipistot tehty ja työ odottaa viimeistelyä, joka jääköön tällä kertaa omaksi tiedokseni :)

This was ready at the start, 'cept for a few back stitches. Now they're done and I need to finalize - not telling you what though - keeping it to myself :)

Tähän pisteeseen sain Isä Meidän.
Tämän piti olla vanhempieni 50v lahja, kunnes muutama viikko edellisen postauksen jälkeen olin vanhemmillani käymässä uuden kultani kanssa ja pitihän siellä sitten esitellä, mitä olen ajan saatossa vanhemmilleni pistellyt. Ja kuinka ollakkaan; olen pistellyt heille Isä Meidän rukouksen jo niin kauan sitten, etten enää sitä itsekkään muistanut.... Joten se siitä ja tämä tulee sitten itselleni ja valmistuu jossain välissä.
This is where I got with Our Father.
I was stitching it for my parents for their 50th anniversary till just a few weeks after my last post I was visiting my parents with my new love and of course I just had to introduce what I'd stitched for my parents over the years. And yes; I've stitched Our Father for them ages ago, just didn't remember it.... So that's that and now I'm stitching if for me :)

Suuren suuri pieni ongelma / A huge small problem

Eilinen meni melkein ilman pistoja... :( oksennus ja mieletön päänsärky oli seurana aamusta iltaan. Ja sitten lasit - siis ristipistolasini ovat hukassa :'( Enkä minä näe pistellä ilman niitä :'( Tänään onneksi ollut "vain" toipilas päivä, muttei piston pistoa, kun ne lasit on edelleen hukassa... :'( Pitäisi varmaan hakea uudet :)

Yesterday went almost without any stitches... :( vomiting and dreadfull headache all day, from morning till night. And I've misplaced my stitchingglasses :'( Can't stitch with out them :'( Today's been a better day, with "just" getting back to life from yesterday, but with out any stitces, since I can't find my glasses.... :'( Guess I need to buy new ones :)

Ajattelin tähän työhön tehdä hieman ylimääräistä,
sillä terälehtien valkoiset osat ajattelin pistellä, vaikka ne ovat mallissa jätetty tyhjiksi.

This Orchid is easy and quick to stitch.
The blue flower and back ground needs yet to be done.
I'm going to personalize this one with extra stitches;
I'm filling in the blank squares of the petals by stitching them with white.

Ruusu edistyy verkkaisesti, mutta joka pistohan sitä vie kohti valmistumista :)

Ensimmäinen / My first HAED

Esikko valitsi tämän mallin ja toivoo sen olevan valmiina siihen mennessä kun tyttö täyttää 30 :) Ikää nyt 19v :):) Iso projekti, toivon kuitenkin, että saan sen valmiiksi hieman ennen tyttären 30 v päivää :)

Pistelen kolmella langalla kahden yli, joten työstä tulee ISO!!

Aloitettu on, kuvaa jossain välissä.

My firstborn DD wanted me to stitch this model for her.And she hopes it's ready by the time she turns 30 y :) She's 19 now :):)I hope to have it ready sooner!I'm stitching it with 3 strands over 2, so it'll be HUGE projekt!

Hassutus / Crazyness

Minna keksi viime vuoden lopuilla pistää pystyyn Hassutuksen ja mukanahan sitä pitää tietenkin olla :) Osa syynä sellainen seikka, että saa kotiin kauniita ristipistotöitä, loput syyt tulee rakkaudesta ristipistoihin :) Ideana tässä Hullutuksessa oli se, että tammikuun 1. - 15. pv aloitetaan uusi työ joka päivä = 15 uutta aloitusta heti vuoden alkuun. Pari onkin jo valmiina ja menneet (nämä vielä) vaihdossa muualle. Kaksi työtä tässä Hassutuksesta lähtee vielä lahjaksi - niistä en tämän enempää sanokkaan, loput tulee sitten kotiin :) Katsotaan nyt missä muodossa ne sitten valmistuttuaan ovat.
Ja tässä kuvarypäs - ilman sen enempää erittelyä järjesteyksestä, sillä enhän minä nyt enää muista tarkkaa järjestystä aloittamisesta, kun en niitä sen enempää niitä itselleni kirjannut.

At the end of 2010 Minna got this great idea of Crazyness and I just had to be part of it :) Partially because I want to have some beautifull cross stitches for my home, the rest of the reasons being my love of cross stitching :) Minna's idea was to start a new cross stitch everyday, starting Jan 1st to 15th = 15 new starts for the beginning of this year. I've sent 2 of these stitches in an exchange ((no more exchanges this year!). An other 2 of this Crazyness are planned as gifts, the rest will decorate my home once ready and finalized - don't know how, that'll be seen in the future.
And here's the pic's - ilman no specific order since I don't remember in what order I started them since I didn't make any notes about them.

Nämä kanaset olivat nopeita pistellä ja valmistuivatkin aloituspäivänään kumpikin.
Ja päätyivät vihon kanteen ja lähtivät matkaan Syysvaihdon (kolmas yritys päätyi vihdoin oikeaan osoitteeseen!) parilleni Marelolle.
These chickens were fast to stitch and were ready the same day I started stitching them.
They ended up as a cover of a notebook which I sent to Marelo, who was my partner in last years Autumn exchange (finally the 3rd one got to the right add!)
