Yllätyspostia /Surprisemail

Tarja onnistui yllättämään minut ihan täysin tänään :D Kotiin tullessani esikko antoi minulle ensin "ei niin kivaa postia" (lue; laskuja) ja sitten "Avaa tää, mäkin haluun nähdä!" kommentoi tytär, kun antoi kirjekuoren, joka hieman pullotti :) Eiku kuori auki ja karkkiahan sieltä ensimmäiseksi tippui, sitten löytyi hauskoja halloween tarroja ja aivan ihanan suloinen pistelty kortti, jossa Tarja kertoi haluavansa piristää minua "plääh-fiiliksen" poistamiseksi. Ja onnistui aivan täydellisesti :D

Kiitos ystäväiseni, aivan ihana ja mukava yllätys!

Tarja managed to surprise me totally today :D Coming home after work, my DD gave me the "not so nice mail" (read; bills) and then "Open this, I want to see too!" giving me an envelope that was a bit fat :) Opening the envelope a candynecklace dropped out, then I found wonderful Halloween themed stickers and finally the cutest of cards, in which Tarja wrote that she wanted to make me feel better since I've been a bit down lately. And she manged just perfect :D

Katrilta tuli ihastuttava biscornu :D Kiitos kovasti!!! Kuoressa oli mukana myös kortti ja liukuvärjättyä lankaa, aivan ihana vaihtopaketti tuli siis perille :D

SRPY syyskuun 2009 paketti /SCSF September 2009 pacakge

No niin, autta kovasti atk-laitteita toimimaan, kun siivoaa ja uudelleen järjestää olohuoneen, laittaa laitteet uudestaan kiinni ja vot - skanneri toimii jälleen :D Eli sain otettua skannerilla kuvia tuosta saamastani ihanasta paketista - Kiitos vielä SRPY-ihanaiseni!

You know it helps to get your computer equipement to work, once you first cleanup and arrange the funiture all around and - my scanner works again :D This means I was able to take scans on what I received from my secret cross stitching friend -Thank you my wonderful SCSF!

Sain Tralala Collectionin Maisons de Campagne mallin lankoineen.
Kokoa tällä työllä on 75x207, joten mieluisan ison ja ihanan mallin sain :D
I received Maisons de Campagne -chart from Tralala Collection and the floss for it.
The size is 75x207 so it's just perfectly big and a beautiful piece to stitch :D

Ylimääräisenä yllätysenä sain srpyyni itse neuloman tiskirätin, langat Novitan Bambu.
My SCSF sent me an extra, a dishcloth that she had knitten herself, the yarn is Novita Bambu.

Nyt sitten odottelemaan lokakuun yllätystä
- varmasti yhtä ihana kuin tämä syyskuun pakettikin :D
Now it's waiting for the October package
- which will be just as a wonderful surprise as this Septermber package was :D

Mintsille ihanasta yllätyksestä, joka saapui postin mukana jo muutama päivä sitten! Paketissa oli mitä ihastuttavin pistelty "vihkonen" neuloja varten ja muutama tosi kaunis nuppineulakin. Ja mukana kortti :D Kiitos ihana ystäväiseni tästä piristävästä yllätyksestä. Ja sori, en saa kuvia, kun pudotin kameran lattialle ja se vaatii huoltoa...

Mintsi, the mailman brought a few days ago! Mintsi had stitched a pinkeeper for me and put a couple of beuatiful pins in it too! And there was a card too :D Thank you my dear friend for this wonderful, uplifting surprisej! And I'm sorry I don't have pictures, since I dropped our camera and now it needs a bit of fixing.

Toinen paketti tuli samaisena päivä, kiitos ihanainen SRPYyni! Paketissa oli Tralalaan malli lankoineen, suloinen keittiöaiheinen kirjanmerkki sekä neulottu tiskirätti ja tietty kortti kertomassa keneltä paketti tuli. Ihana yllätys, kiitos SPRY :D

I received an other package the same day, thank you my wonderful SCSF! She sent me a Tralala chart with floss, a cute bookmarker stitched with little kitchenery pictures and also a knitted "washcloth" for dishes. And of course a note telling who the package was from. A delightful surprise, thank you SCSF :D

WIP

Älkää huoliko ystävät hyvät. Ei ole tyhjä olo, on äärettömän onnellinen olo, kun vihdoin on yksi WIP vähempi. Enkä jää miettimään "Mitä seuraavaksi" - siitä pitää huolen WIP-korissa vartoovat työt ja vaihdot :D

Don't worry dear friends. I don't feel empty, I'm so totally happy that I finally have one WIP less. And I don't have to wonder "What next" - that's been taken care by my WIP-backet and exchanges :D

Tuolle April-Mai samplerille haluaisin arvoisensa kehykset - joten kai sitä täytyy ruveta kyselemään kehystäjältä, että "mitä maksaa". Jos pyörryn kysyessä, niin teen ite, kunhan metsästän kehykset - tai jotain keksin. Katsotaan nyt. Voisin vaikka olla tarpeeksi kärsivällinen ja odottaa , että se on kehystettynä sitten uuteen kotiin :D

I want to frames that are up to my April-Mai sampler - so I guess I'll have to go ask how much framing costs. If I faint, I'll have to do it myself . Just need to find frames - or something. Let's see. I could be patient enough to wait for the framing for our new home :D

Vuonna 2006 aloitin kerrassaan ihanan ja kauniin samplerin, jota silloin piti SALina pistellä. Jostain kumman syystä elämä tuli tielle ja tätä sampleria olen pistellyt aina silloin tällöin. Eilen, syyskuun 21 päivä 2009 sain kuin sainkin sen

Nilkkani / My ankle

joskus tuli kerrottua vasemmasta nilkastani. Kävin noin 5 viikkoa sitten magneettikuvassa, kun ortopedi halusi nähdä, mistä nilkan kipu oikein johtuu, eikä sitä muuten näe. Vajaan 2 viikkoa mri-kuvauksen jälkeen tuli soitto sairaalalta, jossa hoitaja kertoi, että mri oli lausuttu ja pitäisi tulla lääkärissä käymään. Ja tänään tämä päivä sitten oli. (Mri-ajan saadessani, lähetteessä luki, että kuulen tulokset lääkäriltä, jolle aika tulee 6 kuukauden kuluessa! Tämä 6kk kutistui kummasti kolmeen viikkoon :D). Lääkäri kyseli ja tutki, sai kyyneleetk

in silmiini, kun löysi niin sopivasti kipukohdan ;) Ja sitten katsottiin nilkan rtg ja mri. Ja mriihän sen paljasti; vasemmassa nilkassani on nivelrikko.

I've told you about my left ankle. About 5 weeks ago I had an mri taken, since my ortopedicdoctor wanted to see what's really wrong with my ankle. Less than 2 weeks after the mri, I got a call from the hospital, in which a nurse told me that the mri showed something's wrong and I need to come to the doctors. And today I did. (When I got the time for the mri, the letter said that I'll

hear the results from my doctor and the appointment time will be in 6 months! This 6 months shrank into 3 weeks!). Today the doctor asked questions and examined my ankle to the point of tears, finding the place that really hurts ;) Then we took a look at the xray and mri. And the mri told it all; I've got rheumatoid arthritis!

Nyt sitten jatketaan lääkityksellä 3kk, jonka jälkeen menen uudestaan lääkäriin, katsotaan onko lääkkeistä ollut apua. Jos ei, niin sitten on leikkaus, jossa nilkkaan laitetaan ruuvi, joka jäykistää nilkan (ja netistä lukemani mukaan vie kivun pois!). Noista lääkkeistä lääkäri sanoi, että ne joko auttaa tai sitten ei, se jää nähtäväksi. Eli 50/50 on, onko leikkaus tulossa (ensi vuonna sitten jos näin).

For the next 3 months I'll be taking pills and then see the doctor again, a check up if the pills have made any difference. If not, it'll be surgery in which a screw will be placed into my ankle to make it stiff (and what I read on the net, it'll also take the pain away!). Doctor said that the pills will either help or they wont, so it's 50/50 with the operation (which will be next year, if needed).

Uskokaa ihan huviksenne; minä olen positiivisella tuulella; syy yli puolen vuoden nilkan kipuiluun löytyi :D

Believe it or not; I'm feeling really positive; finally the reason of half a years pain in my ankle is found :D

Ristipistotapaaminen / Cross stitch gathering

On tänään Helsingissä :) Ihan kohta on lähtö. Tytöt tulevat mukaan, esikko hieman tapaamaan pukuompelijaa, josko saatais tytölle 18-v synttäreille ihana puku :) Ja nuorempi lähtee ensin mielipiteen antajaksi ja sitten molemmat lähtevät kaupungille syömään ja elokuviin, sillä aikaa, kun äite viihtyy omien ihanien ystävien kanssa pistelemässä, nauramassa ja höpöttelemässä!

is in Helsinki today :) Just about to leave. My DD's are coming along, first born is coming to see a dressmaker to see if she could get a dress for her 18 year birthday party :) And younger DD at first is coming to say her opinion and then both DD's are going to town to eat and see a movie, while mum has fun with her friends - stitching, laughing and chatting!
